Zhenan Bao is a co-founder of PyrAmes and serves as an Advisor and on the Board of Directors. A world-renowned researcher in electronics and wearables, she is currently the K.K. Lee Professor in Chemical Engineering at Stanford University, with courtesy appointments in Chemistry and Material Science and Engineering. She is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and National Academy of Inventors, founded and is faculty director of the Stanford Wearable Electronics Initiative, and is an affiliated faculty member of the Precourt Institute, Woods Institute, ChEM-H and Bio-X.
Zhenan received her PhD degree in Chemistry from the University of Chicago, and currently has more than 400 refereed publications and more than 60 US patents. She advises numerous industry boards and a venture fund company. Zhenan is a fellow of several scientific organizations and has many scientific awards. Zhenan and Xina worked together at AT&T Bell Labs before Zhenan moved to Stanford.
